When my mom found out I had scheduled a pick up for my charity items she brought over a few of her own. Not bad since we just started gathering things since the first of the year.
Not long after I started de-cluttering the reading in church was about how if you have two cloaks, you should give one to someone who has none. I keep hoping that my donations make it to people in need.
Unfortunately I am very good at storing large amounts of goods in small amounts of space. Even though I’ve removed all of this and more, the place looks pretty much the same.
Does this have to do with food? No?
Then stop yammering about it!

Giving away anything that could be used as a comfy dog bed is anathema for the thugs…this includes old pillows, bedspreads, warm jerseys and old microfibre dressing gowns.
Geordie and Toby felt that way, but Murphy only likes his store-bought dog beds. That leaves me free to give away a lot of soft furnishings. (Thank heavens!)
I just have to love a dog with a smart mouth! Mine all have one, but they are worth it.
Funny – all three of mine have turned out to be sassy…. 🤔

Handsome Murphy caught a stomach virus, and he is limited to broth right now. 😆. He still thinks he can eat more, but I’ve learned not to trust his judgement.

It’s kinda’ like ocean waves…calm and okay for awhile and then from out of seemingly nowhere and huge wave knocks me down. But I know it will get better as time goes on.
I am deeply sad to realize there won’t be anymore pups joining the family through me. I’m sure if one did, he or she would outlive me and I don’t have anyone who’d be willing to care of them after I die.
Murphy says: Don’t forget us older, shelter pets. Maybe we could grow old gracefully together. 😊❤️💕
