You know I am so sorry to hear this. 😦 I adored Toby! You will never know how much joy you and Toby brought to me over the years! You shared so many things, on your blogsite here, that I will always remember. Just one example, every time I see a pumpkin I think of Toby and I grin. 🙂

I’m So sorry, you obviously loved him so much. I really enjoyed his attitude and your stories. He has a friend in heaven, and they will probably comment on whatever you do. My heart goes out to you. 😢

I am so sorry. You did everything you could and more than anyone else would have done. He just couldn’t deal with this world. Toby, run free, find my Cricket – she’s been waiting at the Bridge for a very long time and she’ll take care of you. No more pain, no more anger, no more fear. And when you’re ready, come visit. We will all miss you so much. (And don’t bite Jesus – He’s a good guy!) Love you more.
Again, so very sorry to you and Toby’s other humans. I feel so bad for Toby. I genuinely only wanted to help. I’m sorry if I only brought you more pain. My wish for you is that you are able to heal and in that take the best of everything: experience, love and hope into the future.

I wonder that too. Toby always adored Geordie, but Geordie was annoyed by Toby’s mere existence. Perhaps he saw Toby up in heaven and said, “Oh no, not you again”. 😆
I am heartbroken for you. You did what you could for him. Please accept my condolences and hugs. He has so many friends in heaven. I am sure he will meet my Luna and Athena. I am sure Geordie was waiting at the end of the rainbow bridge and will take good care of Toby until you can see them again.
I try to imagine my little boy super happy. He has so much love on both sides of the bridge.
I am sure he is super happy on the other side of the bridge. He can watch you while he plays with all the other dogs and kind people.
I’m not so sure Geordie was happy to see him, though…(a little sibling rivalry, I suppose). 😆
I like to think Geordie left the sibling rivalry behind and is just happy to welcome Toby to his forever home. Geordie might still say some snide remarks about Toby once and a while. I can picture Geordie saying to Toby, “go play with some other dog. I need a break from you,” as he stretches out in the sun to nap.
