Well, it turns out Doogie is just as cooperative for photos as Murphy is.

I think I’m going to ignore him and eat this grass.

Ignore me, will ‘ya? Well I’ll ignore you right back!

This evening I found Doogie lying in Murphy’s bed. He gave me a look that whispered, “Don’t tell him I’m here.” OK. I won’t tell him, but I bet before this visit is over, I’ll find the two of you curled up together like best friends.
HA! The title and photos made me giggle! 😀
I hope they will be cuddle buddies soon! 😉 ❤️❤️ 🙂
We had a grand-pup visit for a few days…he’s young AND a HUGE doggie…but oh so sweet! Tiny-little Coop (nearly blind) couldn’t see him, but he could smell him! They got along really good! Sometimes Coop would take a break to his “office” to get a break from all the young-pup-energy…but then Coop is almost 14 years older than the grand-pup. 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness, that must have been so much fun! It’s interesting all the memories that come pouring back when you have a puppy in the house.
We’re still trying to work out feeding schedules here. Each pup only wants what the other has. Even when I put them in other rooms, they will walk away from their food to try to get to the other room. How did you balance your two?
Coop, I don’t blame you from taking little breaks. Geordie took a four week long break when Toby arrived. A guy needs his man cave once in a while! 😆❤️
The kids would take the big-pup for a walk while Coop ate. When they would feed big-pup, Coop didn’t even react…he just laid down in another room…let the pup eat. 🙂
I’m glad meal times worked out so well! Give little coop some hugs and sniffs from us! ❤️
FRIENDS FOR LIFE TAKES TIME !
ALL SHALL BE WELL !
It’s fun watching them get used to each other!
i see that Chester isn’t the only camera averse dog! Honestly I cannot get good pictures!
They both can hear the electronics turn on, and they run away. How do they know??
Want each other’s food? All mine do that. You put down the dishes and they walk round sniffing until Scruffy and Black Tot decide which they want and the rest sort themselves out…..luckily no special diets.
The puppy is still on puppy food here, and I put supplements for Murphy’s heart on his. Otherwise I wouldn’t care. It’s funny to see shy little Murphy suddenly becoming very excited at the thought of stealing the puppy’s food. 😄
The Moriarty of the canine world, then…
😆
I’m glad they are getting used to each other. Hopefully, they’ll become good friends and play together.
I am really looking forward to that!
fingers crossed it works out!
So far so good. No serious scrapping, just a little resource guarding. Hopefully better pics to come!
I hope you are right
