HUGSSSS
😂. You’re right! 🤣
I am so sorry you are feeling so miserable. Hugs.
I know you are feeling even worse. 😢. *hugs back*
Right now it is hard to believe my world will ever be right. I know it will get better. ❤️🩹
Bruce has said it is a time of endings and he is hurting.
Bruce lost his dad who he was very close to.
Bruce lost a friend.
We sold the RV, which was a good thing; but it was bittersweet. It was an ending of our life on the road.
Then Nox was very sick and we did what we could to save her. It didn’t work and we had to have her put down.
Bruce talks about missing his dad. After we sold the RV, he really wanted to talk to his dad. Bruce said he kept feelings like there was something else he needed to do. His dad was very interesting in us selling the RV. Bruce keeps having to remind himself that he couldn’t call his dad on Thursday anymore.
We talk about missing Nox. She had us trained. I hadn’t realized until she was gone how much we revolved our lives around hers.
I’ve been worried that your health might be affected by all of these events since stress can make things worse. I feel so bad for you all. ❤️🩹
Bruce can still talk to his dad. Our families can hear us across the veil. I’m sure he will offer comfort and guidance from where he is. ❤️
I hope you will consider adopting a new dog. A puppy would absolutely LOVE causing trouble on your homestead! 😆
Bruce wants to give it a while (and I agree with him)before we give another dog a forever home. We will adopt another pup in the future. We saved a lot of Nox’s stuff for when we get another dog.
Today, we dropped off Nox’s remaining medicine with the vet and took her dog food and treats to the shelter. We also dropped off a load of towels for them.
You guys are so very sweet! Your kindness will be rewarded.
I wasn’t able to wait before adopting a new pup. I needed a little furbeast. I look forward to meeting your family’s new addition when your hearts are ready!
I plan to share all the mishaps, mistakes, and misbehavior with everyone once we adopt a new pup.
😆. I can’t wait!
🙂
Sitting here trying to figure out what tootsie pops have to do with anything. So I goog’d it and here is what it said: Tootsie Pops teach valuable lessons in patience, persistence, and, symbolism by illustrating that true value often lies beneath a tough exterior. So I interpret that to mean you have a hard shell and soft inside. That mean you are a tortoise, I think.
I was thinking of the old ad campaign: “How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?”
While I am not patient or persistent, I do greatly resemble a tortoise. (Very, very slow.). 🙄
I don’t think I was ever so patient I got to the last lick…so badly wanting that chewy chocolate-y center I forged ahead! 😉 ( I’m sure dentists were thrilled by Tootsie Pops! NOT! 😉 😀 )
Was it hundreds of licks…thousands? I have no idea! 🙂
I’m so so so very sorry you are feeling miserable. 😦 😢
But thanks for making me laugh…and I think Murphy is right…3 works for me. 😉
Many gentle (((HUGS))), Much ❤️❤️❤️ and keeping you in my prayers and meditations.
To me it’s funny how after all these years that owl still haunts us! 😆
I wonder if Telly Savalas knew the answer? I never saw him bite the pop…. 🤔
Real Murphy doesn’t enjoy his diuretic as much as cartoon Murphy does. He would probably ask that you pray that he gets even better at spitting it out! 😂
🍭🦉❓
Oh, Mr. Savalas probably did know! 😉
Poor Murphy!
Coop was the master at avoiding pills in stuff, holding a pill in his mouth and then spitting it out later, etc. Ha. We finally got a pill dispenser that worked with him.
So far I’ve been able to trick Murphy with food, but someday I may need advice of choosing a pill dispenser! (Coop, why didn’t you use your smarts for good instead of evil? 😂)
Most of the time, I did. But I was a bit stubborn and feisty at times…like my mom. 😉 Ha! 😀 😛 – Coop
😆
I thought the answer was always 42 🙂
Ugh! I don’t want to have to be alive 42 “whatevers” more!!
There will be no more of that kind of talk! Positive energy only!
I’m positive that I don’t want 42 more whatevers! 😆
42 cookies? 42 Murphy kisses? Are you sure about that????
