What the Tootsie Pop Taught Us

How long can a person feel this poorly before their spirit flees their body? Many a drunk has asked this same question.

*

No, really. How long? Three.

*

Three? Three what?? What is your unit of measure? Weeks? Months? Years? Do you seriously expect me to answer this?

*

Murphy sitting in sunshine

The correct answer is always “three”.

Sitting here trying to figure out what tootsie pops have to do with anything. So I goog’d it and here is what it said: Tootsie Pops teach valuable lessons in patience, persistence, and, symbolism by illustrating that true value often lies beneath a tough exterior. So I interpret that to mean you have a hard shell and soft inside. That mean you are a tortoise, I think.

I don’t think I was ever so patient I got to the last lick…so badly wanting that chewy chocolate-y center I forged ahead! 😉 ( I’m sure dentists were thrilled by Tootsie Pops! NOT! 😉 😀 )
Was it hundreds of licks…thousands? I have no idea! 🙂
I’m so so so very sorry you are feeling miserable. 😦 😢
But thanks for making me laugh…and I think Murphy is right…3 works for me. 😉
Many gentle (((HUGS))), Much ❤️❤️❤️ and keeping you in my prayers and meditations.
