Even Fake Bunnies Are Naughty

Look what that stupid “rabbit” did to my mulch. Harrumph. – Murphy

I thought it was rain that brought out the Electric Mustard Mulch Puke (Dog Barf Fungus), but it turned out that it needs heat to really bloom. Like most of the country we’ve had more than our share of that this week. Fortunately Murphy doesn’t show much of an interest in the fungus. (I know a certain other pup who would have tempted fate by tasting it.)

Dream Our World

A good way to spend these miserably hot days of summer is to stay indoors reading Dream Our World! (Plus, proceeds help Murphy’s Biscuit Fund.)

Inside, Geordie and Toby view the world of art from a canine perspective while enjoying a day of unsupervised fun. There are a lot of hidden stories inside Dream Our World, and it is a joy for all ages. Treat yourself to a summer read that is both fun and educational!

Dream Our World, and other fine gifts, are available from my shop at L Bowman Studios.

Maybe it’s the ghost of the dispatched bunnies coming back to haunt you. They and their ancestors rising up to slowly torment your soul. (LOL!)

In any case, congratulations on progressing with your one item per day removal plan! I’m curious did you ever recall the origin of the Chinese shade. Maybe it was from a party? A special occasion or dinner? Something from a lifetime ago. Maybe you just loved the color or the cultural reference to Asia? And about the letter from the forgotten person…, was it signed, dated, return address — what was the message, the time in your life it was from – meaning where were you and what were you doing. It’s a rare day I forget a person or even an object. It may not matter all the time, but it all matters.

Tell Murphy to blame the yellow fungus on the neighborhood cat. 🙂

I decided not to read the letter, and I have no recollection of the lantern. I’m OK with that. It made it easier to move them along.

From the amount of clutter I still have around, I’m going to need to do this challenge at least two or three more times. 🙄

(Can I blame the mulch puke on the skunks? I don’t like them. – Murphy)

Hope you and The Terrier are having fun in the sun this summer!
