The other day, Toby was making quite a fuss at his toy box. I told him to take out whatever he wanted, but he insisted that I get it. Several times I asked him what he was looking for, and he kept saying “RAHru”. OK, let’s figure out what RAHru is. One by one I picked up the toys to offer him. He was completely disinterested until I picked up this tiger. Then his eyes got big and his tail started wagging. Evidently this toy is RAHru.

It seems that Toby wanted RAHru in order to have someone to frame for stealing socks.
Blue Puppy has company as Toby’s naughty sidekick.
You don’t expect me to take responsibility for my own behavior, do you?

US HOOMANS NEED TO DO BETTER AS DR DOOLITTLE !!!!!
THEIR TOYS ARE THEIR SPECIAL FRIENDS I KNOW.
HUGSSSS
Toby has a complex relationship with his toys. He is fascinating to watch! ๐๐
Sometimes only a RAHru will do. As another famous tiger named Tony was known to say, “It’s grrrrrrrreat!”
HA! I don’t! ๐ And I wish everyone in my life would get that message as relates to me and my behavior! ๐ ๐
That Toby is a smart-pup! Always trying to stay at least four paws in front of his Mom! ๐ ๐
RAHru is a cutie and sounds like a grrreat friend!
Thank you for the smiles and giggles on a Moan-Day! ๐
(((HUGS))) and PATS and RUBS!!! ๐
(Toby asks: Does that make tomorrow โToots-dayโ?)
It does!!! ๐
Hey, Toby….Toot away! ๐ ๐
Will do!
Everyone knows Rahru means tiger in dog
I know! Right? – Toby
Max had ZEEBAH! He never actually called it that, but he sure did respond to “go get ZEEBAH!” I knew that Rahru meant tiger, by the way. ๐
I liked Pearls Before Swine where the crocodiles had โZeebah Nebahโ whom they always wanted to eat. ๐
I believe thatโs where the name came from. Zeebah is almost as big as Max was and still resides beside my bed. Heโs one of two toys Iโll never let go
I have some Geordieโs toys that will likely go with me across the country when Iโm homeless. Some things you just donโt want to let go of.
He had a huge panda – that and Zeebah will never leave me.
Going acrosss the country when youโre homelsss??
Are you moving to a L.A. encampment? Moving in with Harry and Meghan? Going for a โNomadlandโ life? In any case, Toby would HATE it! At least get him into a good terrier home. Iโd take him. I have a terrier, but sheโd adjust to a friend. I know if I were ever homeless thereโd be a list of people in the national AKC breed club who would take my pup and treat her well. Gotta say though that it sucks being human. We do well in life for our pups. Keep on keeping on for your very clever boy. He deserves it!
Oh, Toby will definitely live in a house. It is I who have failed, not him.
I mean โheโ.
Whew! I have a big house and was designing a section for Toby giving the specs the working name of “Toby-ville”.
As dog parents our job is to keep a roof over all our collective noggins (human and canine) and, of course, treat them like royalty. Dogs really don’t care were they live as long as they are with their humans. I swear though that they prefer comfort over roughing (ruff-ing?) it. ๐
PS: How did you know that I can be a stickler for grammar?
Toby says he likes the sound of โToby-villeโ. If anything ever happens, I am going to try to keep him local. He has a lot of friends in the area.
ughh… “where” not “were”.
Auto-correct doesnโt make things any easier.
Awww, Iโm glad to hear heโd stay nearby his current home. Toby-ville would be fantastic. Design a section for yourself, too! It would be pure springtime fun. ๐
And Iโm sure you havenโt failed. Remember what George Bailey read in his note from the Clarence the Angel in the final scene of โItโs a Wonderful Lifeโ: โNo man is a failure who has friendsโ. Of course, George read the note over a laundry basket
overflowing with cash…, but we wonโt think about that sniggily little detail. The sentiment of good things happen to good people is absolutely lovely, and I think there can be some truth to it.
Such a lovely thought! Then I am truly rich. ๐
Now, if only I could convince creditors to accept friendship as payment….
