As soon as I brought this bed home for Murphy, he crawled into it and didn’t come out for 16 hours.

What time is it? I don’t care. Just wake me when it’s spring.

Murphy, your mom is smart to be cautious. Once she understands that you won’t wake up and bite her, she let you in the big bed. Nox is only allowed in the big bed while mom and dad are awake. We are afraid of rolling over on her. Even so, she has fallen off the big bed when we had her in bed with us due to a scary thunderstorm. Our big bed is taller than normal since the bottom of the bed is the roof of the garage! Poor Nox hurt her butt and couldn’t wag her tail for a bit.

Aw, poor Nox! No wonder your bed is so high if it is the roof of the garage! 😆. Does Nox have steps to get in and out? ❤️

I am concerned about Murphy being able to get safely up and down from furniture. The vet said he has luxating patella and to watch out for him.

No, Nox has Bruce and Julia elevators. She can jump up onto the couch, but needs us to put her down. We have to pick her up to put her in the big bed. We carry her up and down the stairs into the RV.

I would like it if we could get a ramp for Nox, but we don’t have space. I have seen steps for dogs as well, but since Nox now has trouble going down steps, I think a ramp would work better for her.

Nox doesn’t seem to mind asking to be picked up and put down; she seems to enjoy the Bruce and Julia elevators.
