Wow! We have almost matching outfits! I was informed that I will be wearing mine (like it or not) starting later this week after I get my Christmas haircut and anal gland expression. Sorry, too much information there. You look like a true Santa Dog and the indignity, shame and embarrassment will ultimately slough off when you open your presents and find lots and lots of tasty treats. Meanwhile, just think of Geordie sitting in dog heaven, looking down and howling with laughter, pointing his paw and doubling over in glee at your situation.
