Oh dear, what’s this?
It looks like Blue Puppy got caught as he tried to run away after raiding the trash can.
What are we going to do with him, Ma?
I don’t know where he gets this.
Toby is getting smart. He is making sure that Blue Puppy takes the blame for everything now that Santa is watching.

Is Toby a cairn? I had a cairn terrier when I was a kid – Cricket – she only lived 4 years but oh, what a sweet dog she was!
Yes! This is a Cairn. They are special, aren’t they?
oh they really are! Many y ears ago, before I knew better, I would take my first Golden to the dog park. One day I ran over to this total stranger, and asked if his dog was a Cairn. He was so shocked that someone recognized the breed. 🙂
That’s true! Most people ask me about my “Westie”.
oh dear lord
Blue Puppy wants more stuff for Christmas.
I guess he was checking to see if I hid them in the trash. What he should be doing is finding ways to blame Toby.
I love how Blue Puppy seems to have that special texture that comes only from liberal application of dog saliva over an extended period of time. Max’s “Hedgie the Hedgehog” has that same finish. Are Cairns particularly “licky” dogs? Most Maltese are notorious lickers. I like my likker, too but that’s a different story.
Like Papa, like puppy when it comes to likker? Yes, Blue Puppy has that saliva patina. He gets periodic baths, but it always comes back. No, my boys never really licked things. Blue Puppy gets carried around a lot, though.
Oh! That Blue Puppy is a scamp! 😉 😀
OH! And Toby is so smart! 😉 🙂
HUGS for you!!! 🙂
PATS and BELLY RUBS for Toby!
🐾 🐾 🐶 🐾 🐾
Toby says: Thank you so much for the belly rubs!
You’re welcome, Toby!!! 🙂
