I’m feeling nostalgic, so I am going to remember last year…
There was surprisingly little discoloration
for the amount of swelling.
And yellow is the reason why.
I mean, these are the culprit homicidal boots.
(They look so innocent, don’t they?)
As an act of kindness and self-sacrifice – because you know that’s how my boy is – Toby decided to help me with tilling this year. He says he wants to save me wear and tear on my boots. (You can’t tell from the photos, but some of those holes are big enough to hide a 20+ pound terrier.)
Toby was disappointed when he found out we are growing “peas”.
That’s not the “P” word I was hoping for.

If you know a bookstore or shop where Dream Our World might fit, please let me know! I would love to introduce Bitey and The Usurper to even more humans.
In Dream Our World, Bitey and Toby visit the Museum of the Imagination and view the world of art from a canine perspective. And how is that? – With themselves front and center, of course!
Dream Our World is available from Amazon.
OUCH FOR THE KNEES !! BUT WHEN DID YOU GET THAT PIC OF MY KNEES TOO !!!
THE HOLES…. CELT AND SAXON ARE SERIOUS DIGGERS… MOON CRATERS.. BID ENOUGH TO HID A HOUND IN… SOBSSS… I HAVE TO BACK-FILL EVERY WALK AND VENTURE INTO THE GARDEN !!!!
THEY SAY THER ARE JUST SAVING ME MOWING… BUT I CRASH AS THE RIDE ON MOWER FALLS IN A HOLE……….
Ow! Ow! Ow! I feel bad for tall the work the pups make for you. The plus for me is that it really tires Toby out when we play those digging games.
Yikes, your knees look like that too?
AW. Your poor knees! 😦 So painful! 😦 I imagine that is a memory you will always have.
I remember all of my adult falls. The most recent was 11 years ago. I was delivering some donated items to help out at a high school band fund-raiser yard sale. I tripped over something in the parking lot and fell down. But I didn’t drop, or break, the items I was carrying. (That was important to me). My hubby thought my knee might be broken so he made me go to the ER. They said it was not broken, but I had to stay off it all weekend, elevate, ice, etc. Bummer.
Ooh! Peas! YAY! Yes, I imagine those are not the peas Toby is interested in. 😉 😛
Stay safe and well! And keep Toby busy! 😉
(((HUGS))) PATS and RUBS!!! 😀
Wow, you didn’t break anything. What an accomplishment!
I think Toby will like the peas once they start bearing pods. Then I will have to fight him for them.
I’m filling a kiddie pool with sand soon and teaching Maverick to dig there because that kid is working on a hole to China, and I’m boycotting China, dammit!
Maybe you could angle his digging to go to Australia instead. Koalas popping up in the back yard sounds like fun!
well, the husband put the kibosh on the kiddie pool idea – so he’s gonna have to deal with the holes in the back when he tries to mow, not me. So there. Pfffffffffffffttttttttttttttt
BOL Someone is missing a princess. You boys are wicked.
I’m glad someone finally recognized how evil my boys are.
