Toby recently figured out where carrots come from, and I had to quickly harvest the whole crop if I wanted to have any myself.

(Using the Vibrant Color setting on my camera didn’t change their appearance much at all, did it?)
When I sliced the big carrot into coins, they were as big as the palm of my hand.

I was surprised when he ate some. Then there was no stopping him. (At least you get to eat carrots unmolested since Chester doesn’t like them! 😆)

Our dog Athena learned to pick beans from the vines due to a friend picking beans and giving them to her. We didn’t get any snap beans after that! Toby is just so clever, I’m not sure how you stay ahead of him.
I have the same peoblem with beans too. Once Toby learned where they came from, he was more than happy to help himself.
Yesterday he learned where watermelons come from……😳
