You mean that’s not what you always look like?
I didn’t realize. I haven’t known you that long.

6 weeks on steroids +1 new medication + < supplement – 7 vials of blood = I guess we’ll find out!

LOVE YOU LADY L
YOU HAVE MY SYMPATHIES !!
HUGSSSS
You’ve been on my mind. How are you doing? I hope your life is filled with lots of love. ❤️💕
THERE IS LOVE YES !
THE STROKE GREMLINS ARE INCREASING. AND BLOOD PRESSURE IS IN THE 120 RANGE MOSTLY !
BUT THE DOGS AND CATS ARE RESCUING ME !
HUGSSSS
❤️
You really are going through it…thank goodness you have Murphy to look after you.
Frustratingly, there is nothing “wrong” with my eyes. 🙄
Aw. 😦 Hope all gets betterer and betterer. Hang in there, SweetL…taking one day at a time.
I know Murphy will keep his eyes on you. It’s lovely that our pets love us and don’t comment on our physical appearances. 😉 🙂
(((HUGS))) and ❤️❤️
Toby got upset when the Bell’s Palsy was worse. I guess my RBF looked angry, and he didn’t know what to make of it. 😂
I like that our pups can sense our emotional changes and concerns…especially those we have for our physical health stuff…and they can be compassionate.
But, at least they don’t comment on what we are wearing, or that we have a pimple on our nose, or that we gained weight, etc. 😉
When I was going through my cancer journey, Coop was very tuned into my emotions and spend so much time right next to me, just watching me carefully. I appreciated his love and concern. 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your pups never commented on your wardrobe? Geordie sure did. That pup had opinions on everything. 😆
Aw, little Cooper sounds like such a sweetie! I bet the comfort and support he provided helped you to heal faster. (We hope you never hear that bad C word again.)
Geordie was aware of my blood sugar issues and would yell at me to eat if it got low. Toby was a typical guy and was clueless about all things emotional. Murphy doesn’t like to see me cry. How different all my boys are.
awww, you don’t have a rbf. It was just different from what Toby was used to. I think he must have been one heck of an intuitive pup. Just many, many gray matter brain cells ahead of the rest of the crowd. I think about Toby and I think he was a real teacher.
As for the steroids…aren’t they supposed to make people angry? I knew someone on them just for poison ivy, just a step down pack, and it made her sooo exhausted, yet unable to sleep. It was like some kind of torture. Is that why your eyes are red?
I actually think that as long as you smell the same dogs don’t care. I don’t think they offer great empathy when we are suffering. I don’t think they reject us when we are sick or different. They love us all the same; they are unconditional love and loyalty. I’ve (perhaps unusually) actually found that unwavering sameness towards me to be the best thing of all. In a world of change, dogs are the same to their humans. They don’t change, even when the rest of the world is crashing down. It makes me understand why dogs are helpers to their humans from all walks of life.
Tell Murphy that you’re still his mommy no matter what you look like and you love him. He’ll understand. If he still gives your ‘roid face the stink-eye, just explain to Murphy that it’s all fun and games now, but once Halloween season starts (in July, HA!) that you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank after you land gigs working in haunted houses! :-)
Anony-mouse and The Terrier~
Ha! I love the idea of working haunted houses at Halloween. Or maybe as a warning to kids that “Your face will stick that way”.
The steroids I took were ocular, so I didn’t have the harsh step down that oral would cause. Unrelated to the medication, I am having an eperience like your friend. I am exhausted, but I can’t sleep.
Give the Terrier some love from us!
oh dear, you have had a time!
Still having it!
