Cousin Doogie will be joining us for the weekend. While Murphy has never had canine company, I am optimistic he;s going to enjoy having a buddy for a few days.
(Secretly I am hoping that Doogie teaches Murphy how to play. I think maybe a puppy will be able do what a human can’t.)

On Tuesday I stopped by to see two people (separate visits) I’ve never met before (long stories: one normal and one weird story) and their dogs each (unsolicited) brought me a toy. I felt like a was queen of dogdom for a day! A toy from a Miniature Schnauzer AND a harlequin Great Dane…, I could rule the universe with that kind of power!
Message Doogie and tell him to bring his favorite toys and blanket, so the sharing amongst the canines can commence, Murphy will understand play, then wait to see if you and your brother are invited in on the canine games, too!

Ahh, thank you to you and my loyal subjects. 🙂 It happened again today – this time with a yellow Labrador retriever. It is his birthday today and he was such a happy boy! I may need to get a milkbone scepter.
