Oh no, have you had to replace a computer as well? I needed to get a new word processor to go along with the computer, since my old one is no longer compatible. The problem now is that I can no longer read any of my old documents. (At least I don’t think I can. Maybe I’d better check… 😂)
I had to replace my laptop several years ago, but all the software transferred fine. My problem these days is that the software geeks keep monkeying with stuff so you have to keep learning new tricks and pathways. Why can’t they just leave well enough alone??!
Yes!! Who has the time to re-learn a program every few months? (I’m looking at you, Libre Office.) And while we’re at it, all software should be backward compatible. Oh, and quit switching cables. Pick one style and stick with it! And did I mention, no more sucky subscriptions! 🤬. (Not that I have strong feelings about these issues…)
