Something Like the Sun

I have a friend with such incredible energy. Being around her is like standing in the sun. She lights up a room and brightens everyone's mood.

*

I am the antithesis of this friend. My dark energy drains everyone around me and makes them unhappy. I'm don't feel as exotic as a black hole. I'm more of a...a....

*

An "ask hole"? I was going to say "charcoal".

*

I was watching a TV show where a psychic medium said that the personalities of people stay the same even after they cross over. Ouch. I was hoping the suckiness of my circumstances contributed to my awful personality, but now it looks like it may be organic. I guess I won’t be able to stand my own company in the next world either.

*

Really? You’re taking life advice from TV shows?

Dream Our World

A good way to spend the last of our hot summer days is indoors reading Dream Our World!

Inside, Geordie and Toby view the world of art from a canine perspective while enjoying a day of unsupervised fun. There are a lot of hidden gems inside Dream Our World, and it is a joy for all ages. Treat yourself to a summer read that is both fun and educational!

Dream Our World, and other fine gifts, are available from my shop at L Bowman Studios.

HA! 😀 Our pups always seem to have an opinion! 😉
Oh…I do believe Murphy has the wisdom today! 😉 No life advice from TV shows! Must remember that! 🙂
Well, SweetL, please know that here on WP you have been the sun to me many many times…a bright ray of hope, a light in dark times (when little Coop was ill and when he died AND as I was grieving…you helped me so much!), a glow of fun that brings the laughter, a warm beam of encouragement, ETC!
    💛🌞⛅🌅🌄💛
    Thank you! 🙂
    (((HUGS))) and ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Oh, you are rays of sunshine! Don’t you ever think anything else! Have you ever tried reaching out to old real life friends from that past? The internet is nice, but no substitution for the real life thing. I say this as someone who just took a chance and reached out to an elementary school/junior high friend (going back to the 1980s here!) and her reply was amazing! Give it a go, take chances, go where the love is!
