You know I’m just going to eat those, right?
In Slovak, the word for dog is “pes” and the word for crayon is “pestelka”. This product practically invented itself. Add a few fangs on the box, and how could it help but be “Preferred by Puppies”?

The deaf community has been receiving a lot more attention recently. Characters on TV shows and spokespersons in commercials are all highlighting the challenges and rewards of being other-abled.

Thanks! I hope somebody will love it some day. ๐
In real life, Geordie’s favorite color was red, and Toby’s is blue. We would end up with quite a colorful place if they painted!
Is there a particular reason the word “Pestelka” is spelled differently on the box lid? For a minute I thought Toby had joined the Corps. (There is an old running inter-service saying about Marines being “crayon eaters.”)
Dโoh! Yes, the reason is that I am an idiot and canโt proofread. ๐
Crayon-eaters, eh? Why that term?
No special reason, just a jab and tease suggesting Marines are not smart so they’d eat crayons like some 3 year old. It’s been around for years.
And yellow is the reason why?
OH! Now! YAY! Finally, I know what 50 Shades of Gray was all about! ๐ ๐
OH, Toby your photo of you and flowers is so cute! Did they taste yummy?!
(((HUGS))), PATS and RUBS!!! ๐
PS…this is such a clever and fun cartoon! ๐
Iโm presuming this is what 50 Shades of Gray is about. Iโve never seen it. I mean, crayons are pretty interesting, right?
Ooh, I love crayons! I always enjoyed when I could buy the 64 pack! Such beautiful colors to create with and the names are fun to read! ๐
Were you a Crayola person of Sargent fan? I still have a favorite box of crayons (which my nephew kindly snapped in half one day while we were coloring). The smell of a crayon does take you back, doesnโt it?
I’ve used both! But Crayola always seemed to be the easiest to find.
Yes, the smell does do that! ๐
As a Kindergarten teacher for many years I often smelled of crayons, Play-Doh, or paint! HA! I actually had kids hug me and say, “You smell good. You smell like Play-Doh.” HA! ๐
You mean 50 Shades of Gray isn’t about crayons? What a world!
As far as I know it is! ๐
In Toby’s world? Yes.
I guess we could ask Humpty Kitty what he really thinks.
Yes, definitely, 50 Shades of Gray was about crayons! This is a great cartoon. Toby, where did your mom learn Slovakian?
Central Europe is part of momโs heritage. (Mostly she just knows naughty words.)
