W Geordie lived with me, I didn’t need a timer. He always came to get me one minute before my food was done.
Don’t worry, my nose will wake me up at the right time.

Come see what my boys have been up to in Dream Our World.
Inside Dream Our World, Bitey and Toby visit the museum of their dreams, view the world or art from a canine perspective and enjoy a day of unsupervised fun.
Dream Our World and other fine gifts are available from my shop at L Bowman Studios.

Dogs know!
They are always willing to help you eat the food too. 😆
I don’t like that the cake burned but dogs are pretty amazing!
Fortunately it wasn’t really burned, it just had a strong aroma. 🎂
THAT HYPER SENSE OF SMELL IS AMAZING !!
If they can smell so much, why wouldn’t my guys tell me when there was change on the ground? That would have been a useful skill!
BOL!!
Well, then none for you
What a good baking helper! I love it! 😀
Coop becomes very attentive when any one walks into the kitchen. HA! He quickly gets in there and is ready to clean up anything that falls on the floor. 😉 😛 He cracks us all up by how loud he sniffs the floor. 😀
(((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️
At least he doesn’t try to trip you to get the food to the floor faster! 😆
😀
Maverick would be “cake’s burning, who cares, throw the damned ball!” And he would try to trip me to get to something he likes, he’s a rotten little shit but I love him
How have things been with him? I have been wondering how your shoulder is healing.
We had a rough weekend with the snow but we managed to survive. We’re trying clicker training- he catches on fast and it’s definitely a learning experience!
Yay! I didn’t have much luck with the clicker with my guys. It’s nice to hear that some dogs are willing to accept click/praise and skip the snack. Happy to hear things are going well!
We’re working on eliminating the treat. Right now it’s still “click and treat” most of the time, but I’m getting more selective about what gets a click and what gets a treat. He gets so pissed off! He’s way too focused on the hand that has the treat so we have to end that habit or we’ll never make any progress.
My boys would stop whatever training we were doing to give me a dirty look if I didn’t treat them. Either that or they’d try to climb into my pocket to get one themselves. What tricks have you two learned over the winter?
Nothing new, really. We’re reviewing what he knows and trying to get back on track from 2 weeks of the Bear being home. That throws our routine right out the window! And since he’s so focused on the treats, it’s been hard to make any progress. We’re currently working on target training – I got a target stitch that has a clicker built in and he loves that
Ruby has an inner clock too
Is it always set to “Dinner Time”?
