Thanks to (a bunch of crap nobody cares about) I have been in PT using arm bikes, lifting weights and working with resistance bands for several months. After all this time I am practically unrecognizable.
Get a load of them guns!

The sad part? I look much better now than when I started.

This will be something I do every day for the rest of my life. What worries me is if I get injured or sick. I’m not sure what will happen if miss workouts. ☹️
You should ask so you know what happens.
I’m pretty sure the answer is that I hurt until I can start working again. In the meantime I am trying to build some bulk (quit laughing!) to help during potential bad times.

I, too, am being tortured with physical therapy bi-weekly but mine is so far mostly leg oriented, although I do have to do a funny little thing with a shake weight. (The therapists are all far too young to remember those commercials but I amuse myself) I don’t care how much I have to do as long as it helps. And darlin, you look mahvelous!
Legs are next for me – as soon as the weather gets nice – so we can come here to commiserate.

I probably have seen it but now I’m gonna look it up! My diagnosis is degenerative disc disease – it appears that my upper and lower back muscles aren’t strong enough to support my messed up spine so it’s leg strength and lower back now, then I guess we’ll work on the upper back. I expect months of this but hopefully it will help. I also just bought The Pain Management Workbook and I’m going through that
I didn’t know about that book. I might have to look it up.
