Cockeyed Optimist

Guys? Are you there? I hear voices. Maybe now they'll match her weird, Bells palsied face.

I don’t see what you’re talking about. I feel fine.

Iron

Hey, don’t forget me! I broke too.

And I’m only right twice a day now!

*

These are a few of my busted up things! (Hmm, I can see why they went with the other version in the musical.)

These are only a few of the things that broke. If you added everything up, October was quite an expensive month. Uh oh Murphy, looks like a skinny Christmas this year!

As long as I get some biscuits, I’ll be happy.

Bear Paw Quilt

Looking for ways to stay warm as the days cool down? Consider this rustic Bear Paw Quilt!

This handsome Bear Paw Quilt would fit in nicely at a cabin by the lake or thrown over your couch at home.  The pattern is geometric, and the colors are bold yet earthy.  The overall effect of the quilt is of paw prints in snow.  On snowy days, the colors look so inviting it is hard not to lie down on them and take a nap.

Handmade Bear Paw Quilt and other fine gifts are available from my shop at L Bowman Studios.

I have enough Bear Paw blocks to make a nice sized quilt. I pieced them when I was really young, and my mom saved them and gave them back to me in later years.

OH, no and oh, gosh and oh, golly! Poor you! Poor glasses! 😦
That’s too many broken things! 😦 (Yes, on that song…but we can all related to busted up things in life. 😉 )
Keep being an optimist…be it cockeyed or otherwise! 😉 😀
Yes, Murphy, biscuits for Christmas for everyone!
Come on, Santa, start baking them biscuits! 🙂

Sweet Fancy Moses! I know you mentioned that your television was broken, so did you bend the heck out of your eyeglasses and break your watch by whipping them both at the TV? You better start working on your lottery number picking psychic mind or brush up on your bank robbery skills, or failing those things, then start pleading your case with the fat man with the white whiskers in the red suit that you’ve been good the entire year.

(Are you referencing Seinfeld with the post title or South Pacific. My vote is for Seinfeld. I’ve also paid tribute to Jerry with the first line of my message.)

South Pacific was what came to mind first. Seinfeld would have been great had I thought of it!

Ooh, that reminds me, Festivus is coming up. (Now where did I put my aluminum pole?)

Didn’t you notice me recently liberating crown jewels from a famous museum in France? I figure that should keep me in watches and irons for a while….
