On top of all the regular responsibilities that come with fall, I have been walking my neighbor’s pup while she is away. The little Schnauzer learned to blackmail me very quickly. She refused to so much as pee unless she got a walk.
Of course I got walks too. I’ll share you, but you’re still my human.
By going on so many walks each day, I got to experience some incredible things. I got to hear the cock crow three times in the morning. I got to watch the fawn twins frolic and play, and I got to see the most incredibly heavy fog that looked like something from a movie.

You’re alright for a girl.
You don’t smell too bad for a boy.

Suitable for both foggy mornings and foggy evenings, Black Hooded Cloak/Cape can keep you warm while still looking stylish. Whether heading to an evening at the theatre or celebrating Halloween with ghouls and vampires, this satin-lined cloak is sure to make a statement.
Black Hooded Cloak/Cape is available from my shop at L Bowman Studios.

I used to love the early morning walks! Just a different world. Nice pics😀
As long as the coyotes stay away, I am at peace with the dark!
Dogs always know an easy touch. They can see me coming from miles
You must be greatly loved! 😝
You should wear that cape and add some false teeth with really pointy incisors when you do your fog dog walks. “Mom, I just saw a vampire walking a Cairn terrier down Main Street!”
Who says I don’t do that already?
HUGSSSSSSS
Thank you! Hugs back to you and your crew.
The fog looks very familiar, but I’ve never taken such great photos!
Oh that’s right! So this is what Karl looks like in the morning? I wish I had had my camera with me instead of just the phone. I might have come up with even nicer ones.
😁 That’s what Karl looks like in the morning, in the evening, whenever he shows up! But my photos always just look gray and out-of-focus…
Hmm, sounds like you’ve caught Karl’s true nature!😆
Oh, how wonderful! And that photo of the walking buddies is so so SO sweet!
Coop and I take a very late night or very early morn walk every day…yes, so many sights, sounds, smells…also, moon-communing, star-gazing, etc! 🙂
I don’t mind fog as long as I don’t have to drive in it on a dark highway! 😮
(((HUGS))) 🙂 ❤️
I feel the same way. Fog is scary for driving but oh-so-fun for traipsing!
I used to make Geordie go running in the snow with me at 3 or 4 am. After a while he stopped fighting me about it and just enjoyed the game. 😂
Aw, on Geordie! 🙂
Coop loves walking and playing in the snow! 🙂 A hard rain or a hot hot hot day, not so much. (He’d rather be in looking out! 😉 )
Geordie loved snow, but 3:00 a.m. wasn’t always his favorite time of day. 😆
Smart boy, Cooper! Hard rains and hot days aren’t nearly as much fun as snow. ❄️
Those foggy scenes are lovely.
Why thank you! I really enjoyed getting to experience them.
I love fog – there’s just something so mysterious and peaceful about it. And yes, I even love driving in it. I wish Maverick would walk nicely but alas, that skill has evaded us.
How old is Maverick? Geordie was at least five before he stopped pulling like an idiot.
4 1/2
I’d say there’s still hope!
