I guess Murphy’s uncle got tired of everyone speculating about what kind of dog Murphy is and sent us this.

To me, Murphy resembles an Australian Terrier.
My mom thinks he looks like a Norfolk Terrier.
Google thinks he looks like a Yorkie.
I guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks if any of us guessed right.

Did you test a fur in your family?
Yes, for two of my rescue mutts. Scruffy turned out to be Jack Russell, Parsons Russell (which is about the same as a Jack) and Schnauzer. We had guessed Jack Russell, never thought of Schnauzer but it was like, “Oh, of COURSE he’s Schnauzer!” Then Romeo tested as Shih Tzu, Jack Russell, and a pinch Chihuahua. Again, it seemed to make perfect sense. And all that was done 100% from saliva, no questions asked about appearance or personality.
Those must be some really cute pups you have with that combination of breeds! ❤️💕
Now I am curious as to what breeds Murphy might be. It is good he has such wonderful brothers to watch over him now after such an awful early life.
The lab sent an email saying that they received his submission. Let’s hope there was enough DNA on the swab for them to work with!
