For inspiration with my One Thing Each Day Challenge, I watched an episode of British Hoarders. What a difference between that and the American version! The American show has drearily sad background music, focus on the mental illness side of the issue and allow only 3 days for total cleanup. In the British show they feature upbeat music while an antiques broker and a home organizer are brought to help the client. The broker looks for possible hidden gems while the organizer teaches the homeowner how to do better. Then they leave for several weeks, and the homeowner is expected to do his or her homework and clean up the mess.
One month has passed, and I am keeping up with my de-cluttering. Despite my happiness over my progress, I’m waiting for the day when I go to look for something that I’ve always had, and it isn’t there. Or at least it isn’t where it usually is. How much time will I waste searching? Maybe Murphy can help me find it.
You can wish all you want, but unless it’s a biscuit we both know it ain’t gonna happen.

What’s with these canines of ours?!
My problem is I have so much stuff, I know I have something but i can’t find it! I’m trying to declutter, Maverick does not agree that toys need to be sorted, so there’s that – he says to get rid of yarn first. Ummm, no. I love Hoarders. It makes me feel like my house isn’t that bad!
Geordie didn’t like when I cleared out the space under the bed. That was his man cave, and he didn’t like me messing with it.
Tell Maverick you are going to do the responsible thing and use up the yarn…not throw it away. 😆
I am the same way with Hoarders. I feel like “At least I’m not THAT bad. Of course, probably everyone on the show feels the same way. 🙄

It feels good to see progress on a project. I loved the blue bunny underneath the invisible dirt.
Toby was famous for hiding things like that. Geordie wouldn’t play along and delighted in taking Toby’s toys and treats. 🤣
😂 Nox didn’t like Bruce taking away her dead mice and would burry them underneath the sunflower shells from the bird feeder. (Nox was a great mouser.) There would be a little mound of sunflower seed shells with a dead mouse underneath. Bruce would remove the mouse. Nox didn’t seem to care and kept hiding dead mice underneath the sunflower shells.
🤣. That is too funny!! 😂
We laughed so hard when we realized what Nox was doing. Nox’s terrier shake was something to behold. Luna’s terrier shake was hilariously slow. She would grab a toy and slowly shake it. It was the terrier shake in slow motion. It was hilarious!🤣
