Not Feeling Well / Stolen Valor

Aw, what's wrong with you? Are you sick? Do you have a fever? No.

*

Then why did mom draw you with an ice bag and a thermometer?

*

Actually, I caught a stomach bug. Last night I had pudding poops and some got stuck to my fur.

*

Yuck! Now I understand the picture!

*

My official title was “Geordie Stinkypoopyfur I”.

Who is this usurper to take my title?!?

*

Leave me alone. I don’t feel well. ☹️

I am presuming this is a stomach virus Murphy caught, but I don’t know for sure. The vet said if he isn’t feeling at least a little better by tomorrow I should bring him in. In the meantime, I am supposed to fast him. This is possibly harder for me than it is for him. I worry that he is going to think I am starving him like the hoarders did. (If mommy had tears, she would be crying right now.)

Aw, poor Murphy! 😦 Sending healing thoughts and love to him. And love to you, too, Mom…as I know you are worried about him.
Fasting a bit is good to give the tummy some healing time.
We found boiling some chicken and letting Coop drink the broth helped. Then the next day some of the boiled chicken with some rice. He loved it. 🙂
    (((HUGS))) ❤️❤️❤️

Toffee’s tum has been upset for a few days, too. Pudding poops, urka-gurkas, the whole ball o’ wax. He’s powering through, seems better today. Hubby hasn’t wanted to alter his diet. 🤐 [Don’t ask!]

Poor little guy. I hope he gets over it soon.

When we lived in Colorado, our neighbor feed the squirrels peanuts. The squirrels would bury the peanuts and dig them up later. The squirrels would leave behind the rotten ones and Nox would eat them. They didn’t agree with her system. Soft poo was welcome after the projectile poo. Talk about a horrible mess and a dog who was miserable.😭

Poor guy! Pasta is good, so is plain oatmeal, and if you’re feeling rich, scrambled eggs. Maverick had such awful diarrhea when he was a puppy, we still have a standing scrip for Endosorb at the vet. AND he hates rice, so it was a lot of fun. He also has had projectile poops – or, as we call it round here “cannon ass.” (And yes, I’d like an illustration for that.) (Snort) I hope the poor baby is soon feeling better!
