Something has been eating the low-hanging tomatoes (unfortunately they’re all low-hanging tomatoes this year), and I suspect it’s Ack and his family. Murphy is upset because believes all tomatoes – low or high – are his.

One good bit of news is that there have been reports of stray cats in the neighborhood. I heard a couple of them getting better acquainted several nights ago. A few cats out hunting can do wonders for keeping these critters in check.
