After my last post I got a notice from WP telling me that it was my 1,000th post. I wish I had realized that and made it more festive!
Festive or otherwise, biscuits are the only suitable things to hoard.

Oh, I mixed up your boys! I meant to say Toby was the wise-acre! Geordie is the nice one, or at least is supposed to be the grown-up.
Quick question: from the perspective of having MCS would you be able to recommend a mattress company or even a mattress topped brand? Anything with off-gassing is out, no foam, and no synthetics. Unfortunately wool is out due to an allergy to lanolin. I’m thinking cotton, but without fire retardant chemicals. Thank you in advance!

I would suggest looking into The Original Mattress Factory. They don’t use chemical flame retardants, and I believe their non-foam mattresses are cotton and not synthetic.
In real life, Geordie was the most opinionated, trouble-making, suffering-no-fools guy I’ve ever met. He has kind of grown up into the mature character, though. 😂
Thank you, I’ll look into The Mattress Factory! I just packed up a foam mattress topper today. It took three people to roll it, squeeze the air out of it and jam it back into the little box. The lady at UPS was so impressed. Apparently people just drag the foam bedding into the store and flop it on the counter and pay for packing.
Geordie sounds like a terrier. I always say they have a mind of their and selective hearing. They aren’t for the faint of heart, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Good luck with the bed search! (MCS is such a joy, isn’t it?). And kudos for that bed packing. It must have been almost comical getting the genie back in the bottle.
