For quite a few years, Coop had an IRL real doggy girlfriend. Brandi. She was a small terrier mix…even smaller than Coop. She lived about a block down the street. Man, his whole demeanor changed when he was with her. The dude was definitely in love! 🙂 Of course, from day one he always had his (stuffed animal) girlfriend named Girlfriend. (Now she sits on one of the couches sadly wondering where Cooper is. 😦 )

Geordie had a mix-breed girlfriend. She liked him, but her heart belonged to an Australian shepherd from down the street. Geordie was friends with the shepherd, but I don’t think he ever realized what was going on behind his back.
Oh, the thought of Girlfriend’s patient waiting makes my heart ache. I have Ruh Roo (one of T’s “ladies”) on the shelf near my bed. We moms are as attached to our daughters in law as our boys are. 😂😂

We saved several of Cooper’s fave toys and they are on display in our family room. (Girlfriend, Old Fox, and New Duck) And we saved only one of the little tennis balls he loved to chase and bring back to us. 🙂 All the rest of his toys got donated so other dogs could enjoy them.
I got rid of a lot of Geordie’s toys when he got fleas, because I was afraid they might hide in the fabric. (Poor boy was so allergic!). I wasn’t able to part with any of Toby’s toys. They live in his kennel along with some accessories that Murphy doesn’t use. 😭. You are far stronger and kinder than I am!
I think it’s sweet to keep all of the toys!
But, if you saw how many toys Coop had…it was wild! 😮 He was so loved by our family and friends and he got gifts of toys from them every Christmas, birthday, Halloween, Easter, or just when they stopped by to see him. He had toy overload! 😉 😀
It was cute how he picked out his most favorites and they got loved worn! 😉 😀
We kept all of Cooper’s blankets and we are using them now. We kept his coats. His water bowl. His leash. And much more. 🙂

His cammo blanket is being used by my hubby.
His soft white blanket with a silky side featuring dog bones art…I am using that one.
My kiddo who was very close with Coop got Coop’s rainbow blanket…it has stripes in the colors of the rainbow. She has it on her desk chair at her office. So she feels close to Coop.
His blanket with little pawprints all over it went to my youngest grandson…from the time this grandson was 3 years old he always said that Cooper was his best friend. 🙂 That grandson is almost 13 years old. 🙂
Oh, what a touching story! That little Cooper was quite the ambassador on Earth, wasn’t he? It’s amazing how such a little bundle of fur could have so much impact on the world. ❤️💕
