I wouldn’t have known that’s a lawn mower! Murphy is just the opposite of Toffee, who hates the Roomba. Then again, he will bark at any living thing as well.
Murphy is normally scared of everything too. That is what made his reaction so surprising.

It’s no mystery. The mower was made in China, so it smells of delicious Chinese food! (And I’m pretty sure it said its name is “Whirrrrrrrr”.). – Murphy

Aww! Murphy looks so happy and cute!
I was contemplating getting a Roomba, then remembered friends’ experience of same. Maggie’s tortoise rides hers, Pat’s cat likewise at three in the morning and Bob’s Alsatian uses it as head massager. I think my lot would just attack it.
It’s almost worth the money just to find out. (Make sure to film the results if you do.). 😂
Protip: don’t leave Murphster running alone with a leash. Lawn mowers like floor robots have an alarming habit of sucking up the leash and then capturing the small dog. Ask Miss Reiko for details.
Poor Miss Reiko! I’ll do my best to keep Murphy safe from those fiendish leash-suckers. 😆
