And baby, look at me now!

My Gotcha Day was really Saturday, but mom was too preoccupied to put my post up. Anyway, I spent the day in bed. Exactly what I wanted! 😊

I was so scared back then!
Today Murphy got a yak chew for his Gotcha Day. I don’t know if there is a significant amount of sugar in those things, but he has been a bouncy little spaz all evening. (I love it!) This tiny boy was so scared for so long that I didn’t think he would ever come out of his shell.

Murphy has turned out to have the most beautiful smile.

This was Toby’s actual Valentine’s Day gift for me – a colorful Loofah dog. He said he didn’t think I would play with it that much, so he would do it for me. What a sweetie.
In true Toby fashion, he would only agree to a photo if his face were blurry.

Don’t you remember? Valentine’s Day
is my Gotcha Day, so I deserve all the presents.

Poor Toby got cheated in the special day department. His birthday falls near Christmas, and his Gotcha Day is on Valentine’s Day.  He ends up sharing his celebrations with other events instead of having a time all to himself.

Sympathy gifts might help me feel better. I like tennis balls, stuffies and treats. (I wouldn’t say no to a pot roast, either.)

This is a picture of Toby arriving home for the first time. You can see in Geordie’s body language, he is saying, “Please, Grandma, get me out of this!”

Seriously. What is that thing? A hamster?!?

Can you find the teeny tiny puppy hidden in this picture?

Toby’s Gotcha Day is coming up this week, and I thought we would celebrate.

It’s hard to believe he was such a tiny thing when I first met him.
It’s funny. There are so many things I want to say about my little boy today, but as I sit down to write I am getting all choked up. Maybe I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

Here is Geordie being angry that he had to walk on his own paws while the puppy got carried. This was the coldest day of that particular Winter and the puppy’s first day outside. (Maybe that’s why he loves the snow so much.)
