Toby’s TV Lament

I'm sad. Oh why? I have a favorite TV show that I've watched for years. I always figured they'd get tired of making it before I tired of watching it.

The latest season, though, feels recycled and lazy. The sad thing is that if the show gets cancelled, they will blame politics instead of less than stellar writing.

The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I wish someone would come along with a big pencil and just erase the latest season from my memory so I could just remember the happy times.

Funny, I know someone...

Sadly, it only works for Toby.

I only care about TV if there is a ringing doorbell.

Something Like the Sun

I have a friend with such incredible energy. Being around her is like standing in the sun. She lights up a room and brightens everyone's mood.

I am the antithesis of this friend. My dark energy drains everyone around me and makes them unhappy. I'm don't feel as exotic as a black hole. I'm more of a...a....

An "ask hole"? I was going to say "charcoal".

I was watching a TV show where a psychic medium said that the personalities of people stay the same even after they cross over. Ouch. I was hoping the suckiness of my circumstances contributed to my awful personality, but now it looks like it may be organic. I guess I won’t be able to stand my own company in the next world either.

The Schumann Resonance

The other day a friend was telling e about the Schumann Resonance. It's a set of peaks in the extremely low frequency of the earth's electromagnetic field.

Research has shown that the Schumann Resonance has a connection to biological organisms. It might affect people's ability to think or their moods or their physical well-being.

At first it just sounded like New Age mumbo jumbo, but then I started thinking about how my OT was looking for connections between changes in barometric pressure and some of my problems. Are magnetic waves any stranger than barometric pressure? What do you think?

I think it's a piss poor organism that can't exist in the environment for which it was designed.

The Dogged Beatles

You know, I believe the Beatles were really dogs. What makes you say that?
So many of their songs are about things that interest us. Like what?
Think about it. There are songs like "Hey Chewed" and Eleanor BigPee". Even "Norwegian Food". (What do you suppose Norwegian food is anyway? Pro'lly fish.) What about "Yellow Submarine"?
Why do you think it was yellow?
