When I was diagnosed with psoriasis, I never thought of all the places it could show up. Finding out psoriasis can hide where no one can see seemed like a particularly awful fate. Thank heavens this was only a run in with some angry ants.
If you wanted someone to bite your butt, you should have let me know.
I already bite your underwear.

Are you looking for a unique and personal gift for someone? Then consider a hand painted handkerchief! With summer allergies and sniffly viruses abounding, a reusable cotton hankie could save hundreds of paper tissues over its lifetime.
A variety of hand painted hankies are available from my shop at L Bowman Studios.
That truly is the heartbreak of psoriasis
It also keeps you from jobs where you work with the public. โน๏ธ
Scratching your butt in public is only acceptable if you’re a dog. ๐ I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, but since it was only ants, you can use some cortisone cream and get relief. And I hope you feel better tomorrow!
Calamine lotion is my go to. It seems to work best for me. Thankfully no one can see my comically pink hiney. ๐
Iโm gonna giggle about that all day . ๐
HUGSSSSSS !!
ANTS ARE VICIOUS !!! I HAD A RASH OF BITES FROM THEM AFTER MOVING OLD TREE BRANCH !!!
HUGSSSSSSSSSSSS
Oh yuck! Ant bites are worse than mosquito bites. Last week I stepped on something that stung me and left me swollen and itchy. With all of these itchy monsters distracting us it is amazing we get anything done! โค๏ธ๐โค๏ธ๐
Both sound awful! ๐ฆ
Glad this was just ants…which is bad enough. Ack on ant bites! ๐ฆ

Hope you find relief soon!

PS…The brilliant dog-neck-cone idea for Human-Beans made me snort-laugh! ๐
When Coop needed one he couldn’t wear one…he is so short to the ground it kept hitting the ground/dragging the ground and was so uncomfortable for him and his little neck…so we bought him a beautiful blue inflatable dog collar, which was wonderful in every way. And he looked like he had joined the Navy! Ha! We sang “In the Navy” to him! ๐ ๐
๐. Ha! I bet Cooper appreciated being serenaded! I was tempted to get one of those for Geordie to help with bis allergies, but they were hard to find in this area. Hope little Coop doesnโt need his inflatable collar this summer!
OH, he loved it! ๐ ๐ Sure! Let’s go with that! ๐ HA! ๐ He is so nice to tolerate me so nicely! ๐ ๐
He hasn’t needed the inflatable collar in quite a few years now.
Oh poor you!!!!! NOT fun!!! For years I’ve believed I was pure bug bait … turns out I’m allergic to a common weed … wild morning glories! And we have a section in the garden where it’s being very stubborn and which I had been diligently yanking up!! That was the cause of much itching … so much so a year ago I had to go on prednisone and an antibiotic as it turned into cellulitis. Then I got allergic to the antibiotic as the prednisone stepped down. What a mess. Summer … it’s not all it’s cracked up to be!!! Hope you’re feeling better soon!!!
Oh my gosh, thatโs awful! I found out I react to purslane and poke weed, but thankfully I was only uncomfortable and not truly miserable like you. Iโm glad you figured out what was bothering you so you can avoid it.
Gardening glove manufacturers are going to love seeing us coming! ๐
Nox knows ants taste like ow. When she was a puppy, she tried to lick ants from the patio and found that they would bite. I hope the ant bites are better soon. I loved the cone of shame drawing!
Ouch on tasting ants! Geordie found a chicken leg that had fallen out of someoneโs trash. He ran over and gave it the biggest sniffโฆand got ants up his nose. I donโt think I have ever seen a more terrified look on a dogโs face! ๐
