Yes, somehow I managed to get a foreign body embedded in my eye and had to have minor eye surgery to remove it. Because of the risk of infection, I’m avoiding outdoor/garden work where I may stir up microbes or pollen or anything else. Now Murphy and I are stuck inside during this beautiful spring weather just sitting around and vegging.

That’s horrible. When I had cataract ops and most things were out of bounds Leo found a pair of wrap round goggles for me. Might be worth a try.
My immune system isn’t really great right now, so I’m using this week as an excuse to rest and hopefully not tax myself. (Murphy’s agreeable since he loves naps!)

Looks like you have Ocular Broccoli, a common but uncomfortable condition. From now on, stick to having domestic objects embedded in your eye.

I seem to be doing OK. Just with my luck having everything ending up in my eye, I’m being extra cautious until I get the all-clear from the doctor!
How are you healing/feeling?
I was feeling so much better today until I did something that caused one of my wounds to feel like someone had stuck a knife in it. Bruce said I pulled or strained a stitch. The same thing happened to him.
