Toasters and Magnets

I wouldn't mind so much if it were a picture of us.

Finding work has been next to impossible for me since most places around here are still closed. I wondered if perhaps a car magnet advertising pet portrait services might get some attention.

Toby says the fact that we drive a toaster might distract from any messages on the door.

Kick the Snow!

Come on, mom, kick the snow!

Here is Toby staring at my boots telling me to start the game.

This has got to be Toby’s favorite game in the whole world. Every time it snows, we play “Kick the Snow’ for hours. Look at those teeth! Look at those claws! This boy is dead set on killing himself some snow.

My neighbor saw us playing and said of Toby, “He’s bat-shit crazy, isn’t he?”. Short answer: yes.

Blue Puppy/Red Monster

Check you slippers in the morning, Mom.

Toby and I play a game where he gets a treat for touching the toy that I name. This day, we were playing “Blue Puppy/Red Monster”. He did well with Blue Puppy, but when I called out “Red Monster”, he bopped me on the head.

Sorry, Toby. There are no rewards in life for honesty.
