Should Doogie Run For Office?

While taking pictures off my camera, I noticed that Doogie had a lot of qualities we see in most politicians.

He is willing to blame others.

He claim other’s things as his own.

He’s been caught fooling around on film.

He likes to conduct business in the dark.

He’ll turn his back on family and friends if it suits his needs.

He’s willing to let others pull his strings.

With these qualifications, surely someone will designate him as our next candidate!

Lycopene Loving Lycan

I’m not a lycan, you fool. I’m a miniature wolf.

I wasn’t sure what would happen if I let Murphy into the garden. Sadly, I created a monster. Now that he knows food comes from there, he wants to go all the time. It wouldn’t be such an issue if he didn’t get a barely passing score from the vet at his last visit. Chubby Chorkie here needs to be careful of his calories.

Thanks to Murphy’s sad origin story, he gets pretty much whatever he wants which in this case means a lot of time sniffing overripe tomatoes. (If only his manly dog scent would scare the bunnies away.)

Giants Among Us

So, we've been wondering...it you are part Yorkie and part Chihuahua - two little dogs - why are you almost the same size we are?

I was curous too, and I looked it up. It says here that originally Yorkies were all my size. We were bred to fight rats in mines, and we needed to be big enough to get the job done.

Oh come on. You expect us to believe you are a genetic anomaly and not just sneaking extra treats? You know, it says here that male Cairn terriers generally weigh 13-14 pounds.

Quick! Throw that thing away before mom sees it!

As you can see, at 22 pounds, I was perfect.

The Still Life

Oh good heavens, what are you doing?

I'm painting a picture just like mommy. Yes, yes I see that.

I call it "Zucchini-Kiwi Surprise"! Oh, she'll be surprised all right. And I'm sure mommy will love it the way she loves everythig you do....

But we suspect the FCC won't let us show that here.

Doogie was small enough that he didn’t mind standing on Murphy when he wanted to reach something. Given the hot weather, Murphy may have objected to his living Ushanka.

He’s Baaack!

Well, it turns out Doogie is just as cooperative for photos as Murphy is.

I think I’m going to ignore him and eat this grass.

Ignore me, will ‘ya? Well I’ll ignore you right back!

This evening I found Doogie lying in Murphy’s bed. He gave me a look that whispered, “Don’t tell him I’m here.” OK. I won’t tell him, but I bet before this visit is over, I’ll find the two of you curled up together like best friends.
