What’s Wrong With Murphy?

It’s been dry here for years, so I haven’t had much opportunity to observe Murphy during rain or thunder. Turns out, Murphy’s not a fan. We only had very gentle, rumbling, far-away thunder, but that was enough to have him glued to my side for the night. He is OK with rain until it falls hard enough to make a sound on the roof.
He’ll be in trouble if our weather ever goes back to normal.
Distract me with treats, and I might feel more confident.

Thank heavens for the Germans or we wouldn’t have any good songs about this weekend.
I’m not sure what is going on in other parts of the country right now, but they keep pushing back the time the storm will get here. Saturday was supposed to be the worst day, but now snow isn’t expected to start till 3:00 am. This area has been so painfully dry for three years that it is hard to believe we will get significant snowfall.
Murphy doesn’t like going outside to potty, but he still wants to go for walks. 🙄. I would be happy to sit at home for a few days and watch TV (presuming we still have power), but I guess that’s not going to happen with this little motivator around.
Mom makes me wear two coats when I go out. ☹️
